RIGBY Group originated as RIGBY Building Contractors, a business that has been trading successfully for over 30 years. We are proud to be part of the Southport Community. The RIGBY vision was to establish a full-service construction company with strong in-house capability across a broad range of trades, including bricklaying, joinery, plumbing and electrical services. Through this approach, RIGBY has grown into a business capable of delivering a comprehensive construction service, combining high-quality workmanship with the ability to meet demanding project deadlines.
As the business developed, the continued success and expansion of the electrical division led to the formation of RIGBY Electrical Ltd. Operating since 2000, RIGBY Electrical team has over 30 years of experience in the electrical installation sector.
Both companies have built and maintained strong working relationships with clients across the education, local and central government, and healthcare sectors. This breadth of experience has enabled RIGBY Group to develop a clear understanding of the standards, flexibility and responsiveness required when working within live, regulated and highly sensitive environments.
Within the education sector, RIGBY Group works directly with local authorities and academic establishments across the country, with both RIGBY Construction and RIGBY Electrical delivering a wide range of installations and refurbishment projects within schools, colleges and universities.
Across local and central government, RIGBY Group undertakes a broad range of works at sites nationwide. Delivered by both RIGBY Construction and RIGBY Electrical, these projects vary in size and scope, ranging from LED lighting upgrades through to full office refurbishments.
In the health sector, RIGBY Group is proud to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of both local and national healthcare facilities. Our teams undertake both reactive maintenance and planned refurbishment works, helping clients maintain safe, functional and efficient environments.

RIGBY Building and Electrical have been carrying out installation and refurbishment works for Local Authorities, Local Government, Central Government, MOD, HM Prisons, and Higher Education for over 30 Years.
RIGBY Group’s services include both Reactive Maintenance and Planned Maintenance, including Electrical Installations, Fire Alarm Installations, Fire Risk Works, CCTV Installations, Plumbing, Heating, Boiler Replacements, Emergency Lighting, Energy-Efficient Boiler Replacement, Accessible Adaptation, and WC Refurbishments.
